As a new member, your family is required to property sit approximately once every one to two years from 8:00 PM – 11:00 PM. Visit this page for the complete Property Sitting Schedule (You must be logged-in to access it). Property sitters are also listed in the Woodledge Weekly and posted in the guard shack.
Per the Woodledge Club by-laws, property sitting is a requirement of membership. The property sitter is NOT a lifeguard. The property sitter’s job is to discourage members or nonmembers from damaging the Club’s property and grounds. Anyone swimming between the hours of 8:00 PM and 11:00 PM does so at their own risk.
If you are unable to fulfill the date assigned to you, it is up to you to switch with another member. Simply find a date or dates that work for you, and reach out to the family(ies) assigned to the date(s) that work for you to see if a switch can be made. Find members contact details here.
IMPORTANT: ALWAYS let the Membership Secretary ([email protected]) know when a switch has been made, as the guards on duty will need to know who to expect each night.
Please check in with the guards at 7:45 PM, property sitting is from 8:00 – 11:00 PM. If the pool is shut down for any reason and the club is not open, the guards will call the family due to property sit. If the designated family does not show up, the club must be closed and there will be a $300 fine.
- Please use the dedicated parking spot near the roundabout at the entrance to the pool.
- Closing checklist will be provided by the lifeguards.
For any and all property-sitting related questions, please contact the Membership Secretary at [email protected]
